Edgar’s Mission is a not for profit organisation that seeks to create a humane and just world for humans and non-humans. We endeavour to achieve this by education, advocacy and empowerment.

Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome
Our policy is Rescue, Rehabilitate and Rehome whenever possible.

Humane Education
If you would like the Edgar’s Mission team, complete with animal ambassadors to come to a school near you and provide a fun, informative and thought provoking presentation please email for availability. Edgar’s Mission also conducts on site educational programmes for school and other groups. We are always mindful never to tell people what to do or not do, rather we encourage people to think and develop their own sets of values based on facts and personal priorities. We do not include graphic imagines in our presentations. For more information please see our Education Page.

Our greatest tool for creating a humane and just world rests with an informed public. We regularly conduct outreach work throughout the community. Attending markets, fairs, expos and community events. We seek to inform people on how their lifestyle and dietary choices impact on animals and the world around them. We believe that meeting our animal ambassadors and by learning about the plight of farmed animals people will be empowered to make more informed and compassionate choices.
